How is a mortgage broker different from a lender?

A lender makes the loan and sets its underwriting requirements. A mortgage broker works between the borrower and participating lenders, helping compare available programs, rates and costs. A broker does not necessarily have access to every lender or every product in the market.

Fundsitive LLC helps explain your options and coordinate the application with a selected lender; we do not approve, underwrite or fund your loan. After closing, the loan servicer collects payments and handles account matters. The servicer may be the lender or another company, so follow the instructions in your closing and servicing notices.

Fundsitive LLC is a mortgage broker and is not the lender. Loan approval, terms, rates, and availability are subject to the requirements and approval of the lender selected for the transaction.
